AWE Tuning is back with their new AirGate Carbon intake for the VW & Audi MQB vehicles.
The new AirGate carbon intake was designed, engineered and tested in-house at AWE to provide more HP and torque for 8V Audi A3’s, 8V S3’s, 8S Audi TT & TTS, MK7 VW Golf, Golf Sportwagen, Golf Alltrack, GTI and Golf R.
The intake is handcrafted from genuine 2×2 carbon fiber, coated with a UV-stabilized resin and clear coat to ensure years of use and amazing looks.
AWE also uses their durable and washable high-flow AWE S-FLO filter in this new intake
The AirGate intake is an easy install. AWE says for most applications, installation should be able to be done in an hour or less. The intake retains all stock mounting locations, integrates perfectly with the OEM air inlet, which results in no check engine lights, and a guaranteed fitment.
AWE is listing power numbers as high at 9HP and 16 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels on a GTI with stage 2 software.
The airgate intake is available with, or without the optional lid depending on your performance needs.
