Looking for a set of high quality winter wheels, but don’t want to break the bank? BBS, one of the biggest names in wheels, has the answer with their Design Line of wheels. 

BBS designed and purposefully built these low-pressure cast wheels to be a light weight, high quality wheel, like you’d expect from BBS, and are designed with winter in mind. The Design line features 3 distinct wheel designs that are perfectly suited for winter use.

The first wheel in the Design line is the BBS SR.

The SR is a sporty and stylish wheel with fitment available for a large selection of applications. The soft radii and contours of the wheel from the hub to the flange enable easy wheel cleaning, which is a convienent factory when it comes to our winter road conditions. The SR is available in two stunning finishes, the Volcano Grey Diamond Cut, as shown above, which is available in 17-19″ fitments, and the Himalaya Grey, shown below, which is available in sizes 16-19″

The next wheel in the Design Line series of wheels is the SX.

The SX is the newcomer in the design line. The wheel features a fresh double-spoke design with BBS design elements. The wheel is available in 2 winter approved finishes which are coated with a special coating and are suitable for use with snow chains if need be! The wheels are available in Brilliant silver, shown above and their Crystal Black finish, shown below.

The SX is available in 17-20″ fitments for a wide selection of vehicles. One benefit the SX has over some other winter wheels is that the spokes are actually a convex design on the rear of the spoke to allow for clearance of larger calipers. Perfect for if you have a performance vehicle like an Audi S-model vehicle, or a BMW M-model vehicle.

Last, but certainly not least in the Design Line of wheels is the XA.

The XA features striking, angular spoke structure that gives the wheel an unmistakable sporty look, while retains the characteristic hallmarks of a BBS wheel. The XA is available in sizes from 18-20″ in their Satin Platinum finish approved for winter use.

Like these wheels, but don’t necessarily want to run them for winter use? No worries! BBS has other finishes available for these wheels that are not winter approved, but would make a great looking summer wheel. The SX is available in Platinum Silver with Diamond Cut finish,

and the XA is also available in Night Fever Black Diamondcut
