Audi RS Custom Wheels & Performance Upgrades in Calgary
Modern Audi RS platforms — RS5, RS6, RSQ8 and R8 — are exceptionally well engineered from the factory. When we modify them, the goal is simple: dial the car in properly, without compromise.
At Tunerworks in Calgary, we work on RS platforms every week. Wheel fitment, suspension, exhaust and software are planned together — not one part at a time. If it’s not a setup we’d run on our own car, it doesn’t go on yours.

Refining the Stance and Performance of Audi RS Platforms
Wheels & Tires
Custom Forged Wheels & Tire Pairing
Achieving the proper stance starts with correct wheel width and offset.
For RS6 and RSQ8 builds, 22” and 23” forged setups are often the right balance point between style, performance and everyday practicality. The B9 RS5 platform typically sits best on wider-than-stock 20” configurations, though larger setups are possible when executed properly. The mid-engine R8 rewards lightweight precision, so the focus is placed on wheel quality and design rather than simply increasing diameter.
We work with premium forged wheel manufacturers including HRE Wheels, BBS, Vossen, AG Luxury Wheels, Brixton Forged, BC Forged and ABT Sportsline — selected specifically for Audi RS and R8 platforms.
Finish selection is part of the build. Subtle differentiation matters — especially when multiple RS models can look similar to the untrained eye.
Tire selection is equally important. Profile, compound and overall diameter must align with ride height and intended use.

Exhaust & Power Upgrades
Exhaust Systems & Software Calibration
Exhaust, downpipes and software upgrades are selected and calibrated as a system.
For 2.9T and 4.0T platforms, component choice must account for heat management, drivability and long-term reliability — not just peak numbers. The goal is improved response and a more defined character, without disrupting how the car performs day to day.
We offer exhaust systems from established manufacturers including Akrapovič, Milltek Sport, Kline Innovation, Supersprint, AWE Tuning, Quicksilver and ABT Sportsline, chosen based on platform and overall build objectives.
Software calibration is supported through trusted partners such as APR, REVO, GIAC and Unitronic, along with plug-and-play solutions like RaceChip, as well as ABT performance integrations where appropriate.
Upgrades are integrated based on the platform and the overall build — not installed in isolation.
Suspension & Ride Height
Suspension & Geometry
Ride height directly affects stance, wheel fitment and overall balance.
Whether upgrading with performance springs, KW Suspension coilover systems, CETE ride height control, H&R components, or select ABT suspension solutions, changes are planned alongside wheel and tire specifications — not after.
Ride height affects offset, tire clearance and overall proportion. Suspension is never treated as a separate decision.

Spec’ing the Right Setup
When a client asks for a more aggressive look, the first step is understanding how the car is used. From there, we’ll walk through completed builds and develop a specification that fits the platform — and the owner.
No guesswork. No trend chasing.
